Lithium polymer usually refers to polymer lithium-ion battery. According to the different electrolyte materials used in lithium-ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries can be divided into liquid lithium-ion batteries, polymer lithium-ion batteries or plastic lithium-ion batteries.
Compared with 18650 lithium-ion batteries such as lithium batteries, lithium polymer batteries have the following characteristics:
1. There is no problem of liquid leakage in the rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery can contain liquid lithium battery electrolyte, and colloidal liquid is used.
2. It can be made into a single high voltage: liquid electrolyte battery can only obtain high voltage through several batteries in series, polymer battery.
3. The capacity will be twice that of the same size lithium-ion battery.
